Sebuah anime besutan Studio Ghibli

Studio Ghibli kali ini mengadaptasi sebuah buku mengenai designer pesawat tempur Jepang era PD II, Jiro. Baru kali ini setelah nonton >10 film Ghibli, ada scene yang banyak banget orang dalam 1 frame. Satu frame crowded banget sama orang yg lari kesana-kemari karena gempa bumi. 

Setelah nonton ini, jadi pengen tahu bukunya, ternyata buku yg mendasari film ini adalah biografi, jadi based on true event. Meski Hayao Miyazaki, sang sutradara, mengubah beberapa detail seperti istri tokoh utama yang TBC. Scene mimpi Jiro bertemu pesawat Itali, bikin penonton mengkhayal khas film-film Ghibli.

Lagu dari salah satu 5 film terfavourite sepanjang masa yg pernah kutonton, mengisahkan seorang (alien lebih tepatnya) yang mencari Tuhan, melakukan yang terbaik yang ia bisa dalam hidupnya, tetapi tetap tidak mendapatkan apa yang ia inginkan, yang membuatnya sangat putus asa bertanya pada Tuhan dimana Dia berada.

Menurutku ini lagu terbaik dan yang paling intense dalam film PK. Must listen, highly recommended, like the movie.

[Though not explicitly said, the first line of the above paragraph can be interpreted as following the Bhagwadgita, which asks you to keep on doing your duty, without worrying or thinking about the results. Here the protagonist too says that he keeps on trying, following the customs and ways to find God, though here he seems to have lost his patience as he desperately asks God where He is.]

Review Hotel Bumi Makmur Indah - Lembang

Deluxe Room: 118

1. Lokasi di seberang bakso Mandeep, depan pertigaan Pertapaan Karmel, sebelah Polsek.  Pinggir jalan raya persis jadi mudah ditemukan, terlebih ada plang-nya.
2. Kamar yang di-booked teman saya adalah Deluxe, isi 4 single bed.  Pas diantar oleh satpam, setelah dari receptionist tentunya, kamarnya double bed dengan 2 single bed yang bisa dikeluarkan dari bawahnya.  Setelah di cross check ke reception, baru dapat kamar yang 4 single bed, 3 di atas, 1 di bawah.  Padahal sore itu tamu di hotel itu hanya 2, saya agak bingung bagaimana bisa terjadi kesalahan.  Ha ha ha....
3. Dengan harga under IDR 200K/kamar bisa untuk 4 orang, sudah cukup baik dan bersih untuk fasilitas dan service-nya.  Tapi perlu saya notice adalah di kamar mandi tidak ada hanger baju dan cermin di atas wastafel.  Dua hal itu, krusial dalam kamar mandi hotel, IMHO (In My Humble Opinion). 
4. Ada teko listrik seperti biasanya fasilitas hotel dan hanger in-room, dengan gantungan hanya 1.  Untuk 4 bed, agak lucu mereka hanya menyediakan 1 hanger.  Meskipun saya yakin betul kalau diminta, pasti diberikan.
5. Pintu kamar mandi mesti sudah dikunci dari dalam, tapi masih ada celah yang bisa terlihat dari luar.
6. Di dalam komplek hotel yang parkirannya luas ini, ada Indomaret tepat di samping pintu gerbang.  Ini salah satu fasilitas yang wow untuk sebuah hotel.
